Learning about the Back-to-School shop with Officeworks

How much time and money does the back-to-school shop take the average Aussie parent? That was the key question Officeworks were looking to explore with their latest piece of research.

The new Officeworks data shows Australian parents expect to spend almost $1,200 ($1,182) and more than two hours getting each child back to school-ready this year, while just over half (51%) of parents surveyed were concerned about the cost of this year’s back to school shop.

Coverage of the research across News Limited mastheads delved into the costs for parents in particular States, including Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.
